We Are living in a time in which the present and pervading paradigms are shifting from the old, mechanistic, linear views of reality to a new, highly integrated understanding. Call it evolution or spiritual growth or whatever. It is happening right now.

Some of us have been 'called' to assist in the transition, using the tools or gifts we've been given, by reaching out and planting seeds of awakening. Spiritual leaders, healers, psychics, artists and musicians, as well as an endless plethora of other 'gifted' sorts, are working to help others remember who they really are.

As for me-

When I was very young (too young to use language to communicate with language), I had an experience that started my journey.

My twin brother and I had a disagreement as to who should be able to ride in our toy pedal car, and being that my brother was more aggressive than I, my mother found me running into her arms, tears streaming down my face.

As I stood in her lap, staring into her eyes, I had a thought- not the kind a two year old might have, but a fully formed adult realization: 'This is a very important lifetime. I have a lot to do here.'

Since that moment, my life has had many turns and events that have lead me to the understanding that the gifts of creativity I've been given were given to me for a purpose- to help in the transition from the old paradigm to the next.

Exactly what the next step in human evolution will look like, I do not know, but I know it is coming fast and that it is good. We will make this transition no matter what, but how smoothly it happens is up to us. The social arenas of politics, economics and theology are all showing us clear signs that something has to change. The change needs to be a shift on the inside, not the outside. When we look at ourselves and each other from a larger perspective, we will clearly understand that the old concepts of 'how things work' are no longer working for us. Then we can make a new choice.
